for good image, take care of your nails
Nail Care Tips!!!
Considering the nail care tips listed below will help you maintain your fingernails in prime condition. As our fingernails are so noticeable and convey a message about us to everyone we meet, it is crucial we take just a little time and educate ourselves on how to care for them well.

the list of DO's:
Always drink plenty of water everyday. It is good for your general health and a well-hydrated body contributes to healthy nails. Cracked nails may specify the need for greater fluid intake.

Apply varnish remover before applying the nail polish. This removes any grease on the surface of the nail and gives extra life to the nail polish, so make sure you do this despite of whether there is old polish on your nails or not.

Use a good quality buffer if possible once a week, no more than twice a week. Be sure not to buff too strongly and not for too long to avoid damaging the nail. Just a brief gentle buff before applying nail polish can help stop the polish from peeling due to a rough or uneven surface on the nail.

Use a soft nail file. Emery boards can be too coarse and damage the nail easily unless used with great care.

Wear protective gloves when doing any work that requires the hands to be sunken in water or come in contact with chemicals. If possible use gloves with cotton lining so they remain dry inside.

Give special attention to the cuticles regularly, using a moisturizing cream often to avoid the cuticles from drying out. Overgrown and ungroomed cuticles can harmfully affect nail growth.

the list of DON'TS:
Do not file backwards and forwards as this can cause splits in the nails, which become even worse if water penetrates after hand washing. Instead use a gentle one way stroking action with the file along with a little patience.

Do not file the corners of the nail as this can weaken them and make them more vulnerable to breaking. File straight across in a way that produces a soft and oval shape.

Do not use varnish remover and reapply nail polish more than one or two times a week. If possible select a varnish remover that contains moisturizers to avoid the nails drying out.

Do not use your nails to scratch hard surfaces, pick at an object, remove staples, or give out as a digging tool. Just take a minute to get a proper tool for the job and evade sacrificing your nails.
Do not ever cut the cuticles or use metal or sharp objects to push them back. Purchase the proper tool for the job and hold it at an angle and gently push the cuticles back without damaging them. Using a cuticle remover first will help make the job simple and avoid damaging the sensitive skin.

Learning manicure was a fruitful experience for me. I've always thought manicure was very easy untill i got to try it. It really required alot of skill. Through this, i also got to know my class mates better. It was really fun & enjoyable!

You may see manicurist painting nails of others so swiftly but truth is, it is not as easy as it is percieved to be! From the filing to the painting and all. SKILL is what manicure really revolves around. i'm so glad we had this manicure session which enabled me to gain such a valuable experience which i might never learn if not for this given opportunity. This whole preparation for learning fest has also allowed me to interact with my classmates. & it has also shown the equality of mankind(if you put it that way) since the guys were also doing it. & its really awesome to see how much they enjoy doing it themself too.

i think that the whole learning process was really valuable and fun. I got to really work with classmates i dont usually talk to. it has taught me alot. and i didnt think that it's been fun. Besides, the guys find fun in doing it though some havent really mastered it just yet. but i would definitely say that everyone walked away with something new. Learning manicure isn't as always as it seems to be. That are alot of things that we wouldn't know that would be required. It is a test of our patience but overall, I'm glad to see that our classmates taking this seriously and I genuinely had fun during ever practice session at my place.

Truthfully, I would say that we've almost nailed the entire thing! Being a girl, I naturally love to go for manicure sessions but learning to do it myself its like a plus point for me because now I can do manicures for my sisters and friends as well. Its a useful skill to learn and I sincerely hope fellow saints would come visit our booth to learn more about this fun and practical skill!
